Vampire Survivors Best Characters

Sigma 

This character is unmatched in her starting power and leveling potential, making her the ultimate build fantasy character in the game. Her main downside is that she can make the game too easy, as her stats are equivalent to around 3,000 Golden Eggs, which are not even needed for normal gameplay. Overall, she is capable of running any build in the game with extreme potency.
 

Sammy 

The recent update has addressed Sammy's framerate issues, allowing players to dominate games by Limit Breaking Vicious Hunger and turning everything into gold, healing, and experience. As long as players acquire the Disco of Gold first, they can level and kill things infinitely. While Sammy can often outperform Queen Sigma, he is more limited in how he can be built and played, and without Limit Break, he may struggle to kill boss enemies at high levels. Sammy is best used for farming Golden Eggs by generating large amounts of gold, but is not recommended for normal gameplay.

Je'Ne-Viv

The Je'Ne-Viv character scales extremely well with its Might and Curse per level abilities. Its access to Ophion and Spellstorm allows it to constantly damage and instantly kill enemies. While Je'Ne-Viv has flexible build options, it thrives by gaining levels to take advantage of its powerful scaling Curse ability. Overall, Je'Ne-Viv is a very strong and dominant character, though not quite as overpowered as top-tier options like Queen Sigma or Sammy.

Red Death 

Red Death boasts extremely high starting health and speed, allowing them to quickly snowball in power with the powerful Death Spiral weapon. However, their lack of innate scaling stats means they can eventually fall behind other characters as a run progresses. Red Death's high mobility enables them to efficiently collect stage items and evade enemies.
